This week in class we did the Tile Technique. Remember the old kitchen blue and white tiles, called Delft tiles, this is a take on them.

Products used to create this card:
Starry Sky Cardstock: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scrap
Basic White – 2 pieces 4 x 5 and a scrap
Starry Sky Metallic Woven Ribbon – approximately 12 inches for bow
Starry Sky Ink #159212
Shaded Summer Stamp Set #155783
Something Fancy Bundle (Stamp Set and Dies) #16041
Simply Scored Scoring Tool #122334
Using the Scoring tool score one of the 4×5 pieces. On the 4 inch side score at 1, 2 and 3 inches. On the 5 inch side score at 1, 2, 3, and 4 inches. Using the smaller of the 2 flower stamps from Shaded Summer, stamp in Starry Sky Ink in random pattern and then adhere to the card front.
On the other 4×5 Basic White stamp the flower at the bottom left and then stamp the sentiment towards the top center and adhere to the inside of the card.

Using the Starry Sky Scrap die cut the larger of the dies, and then die cut the Basic White scrap from the smaller matching die. Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from Shaded Summer Stamp Set onto the Basic White die cut then using the smaller flower stamp, stamp off 3 times in Starry Sky, then stamp onto the Basic White die cut over the sentiment.
Adhere the Basic White stamped image to the Starry Sky die cut and then adhere with dimensional to the card front and add the bow.
