My Short Story
My name is Mary Beth Love-Ricks and I live in Feasterville Trevose, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia, PA. I grew up in Philadelphia and I am the eldest of 5 children, the rest are all boys. Yes, I was the only girl. I am married to Jim, who was my high school sweetheart — although we went our separate ways after high school, fate brought us back together. We have been happily married for over 30 years. We have two wonderful children and 2 of the most adorable granddaughters who I love spending time with.
I have been crafting all my life and believe I inherited the passion from my mother who was very creative. So now I have the bug and love what I am doing.
I started stamping and making cards many years ago and then about 15 years ago I found Stampin’ UP! I was so excited when I received my first catalog and was immediately hooked on their products. The colors are very on trend and the products are top of the line. While I was working full time I built ‘my collection’ and then I became a Stampin’ UP! demonstrator. I love teaching card making but just as important is the opportunity to meet all the wonderful folks and brilliant demonstrators associated with the Stampin’ UP! family.
