Instructions:

  1. Emboss one of the Basic White 5 ¼ x 4 with an embossing folder you like
  2. Attach the ribbon around the Basic White embossed piece about 1 ½ inches up from the bottom.
  3. Attach the Basic White piece to the In-color cardstock.  Set aside.
  4. Take the In-color piece of DSP and fold on all the score lines.  Cut out all 4 corners.  See pictures below.
  5. On each side, take the left-corner and fold to the score line and crease.  Go around and do the same on each flap.  This will create a pinwheel.  To close, you will fold them all down and tuck the last one under like you might do on a box.
  6. On the Basic White 2 7/8 x 2 7/8 stamp your sentiment and glue the balloon to the center and then adhere to the center of the In-color square.
  7. Attach the pinwheel to the card front toward the top about 3/8 of an inch from the back layer.  Center from side to side.
  8. Glue the Happy Birthday to the background piece.  Attach over the ribbon.
  9. Attach the gems to each side of the Happy Birthday.
  10. Stamp sentiment on the other 5 ¼ x 4 Basic White.  Using the scraps of the corners cut off from the DSP punch 2 small balloons.  Add the large balloon and 2 smalls balloons to the inside bottom left of the card and draw the strings with a black fine point marker.
