Curtain / Drapery Card

This card uses the Curtain/Drapery Technique. Some card use this technique for the full card, only the side of the card, but I used the technique only on the corner. This card was inspired by many people on Pinterest and YouTube. I hope you like this version.

Products used:
Card Base – 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 – #161722 Pebbled Path, 4 x 1 and 1 1/2 x 3 1/4 (for label)
Top piece – 4 x 3 – #100702 – Old Olive
Timeless Plaid – #164678 – 6 x 3 score at 2 3/4, 3 1/4, 4 1/4, 4 3/4
Basic White – #166780 – 5 1/4 x 4 inside card piece and 3 x 1 3/8
Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder #164049

Directions:
Using the 4 x 3 Old Olive cardstock emboss it in your favorite Embossing Folder, I used the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to the top of the card leaving the same border on the right, left and top.
Using the Timeless Plaid scored DSP, on the side where the score marks are – place a mark 1 inch down from the top, now cut from the 1 inch mark to the last score mark (this will be at an angle) See below picture. On the score marks only apply glue in the corners to hold it closed like drapes. .

Add the above piece to the bottom of the card, leaving the same distance around the edges then adhere the 4 x 1 strip of matching cardstock over the seam as shown.
Stamp Happy Birthday on the Basic White 3 x 1 3/8 then cut at an angle on both sides and adhere to the Pebbled Path 1 1/2 x 3 1/4 and cut at an angle to match Basic White. Then adhere to the card using dimensionals.

Here is another version of the card using the Timeless Plaid, Basic Beige, Pecan Pie and the ‘To The Point’ label Punch. Notice how the back of the sentiment the colors have been reversed.
