DIAGONAL FUN FOLD CARD

This is my take on a card Tami White did recently.

This fun fold is easy to make and looks fantastic. The measurements and additional pictures are below.
Early Espresso – 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored in half at 4 1/4.
Early Espresso – 8 x 3 scored in half at 4.
Designer Series Paper for inside – 5 1/4 x 4
Designer Series Paper for front – 5 x 3 3/4 (cut diagonally from the top left to the bottom right)
Basic White – 2 pieces – 2 3/4 x 4 (one for the inside and one for the front
Scraps of Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Real Red and Daffodil Delight

Creating the Turkey – Punch Art Style – some punches are retired so use what you have to recreate the look!
Using the Lady Bug Punch – punch the body from Early Espresso and cut off the antenna
Using the Lady Bug Punch – punch out the wings using Real Red, Pecan Pie and Pumpkin Pie. Cut each wing in half. place a score make down the center of each wing and the using a sponge dauber add a little Early Espresso or Pecan Pie to darken up the wings
Using the Snowman Punch – punch out from Early Espresso the arms of the snowman, which will be used as feet for the turkey
Using the small Daisy Punch – punch out from Daffodil Delight and Read Red at least one of the petals of the flower.
Using the Dog Punch – punch out from Real Red the heart
Assembling the turkey – Using glue dots Add the wings to the back, the feet to the back and then take the red petal and cut it down and adhere to the top front of the turkey and then add a smaller Daffodil Delight piece over that.
Now add the goggly eyes. (I purchased mine on Amazon – they are 6mm Wiggle Googly Eyes Self Adhesive)

Creating the Card
Take the Basic Black – 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored in half at 4 1/4. and cut the front from the top left corner to the bottom right corner (as shown in picture below)
Add the Designer Series Paper for inside – 5 1/4 x 4
Take the Basic Black – 8 x 3 scored in half at 4 and adhere to the center of the inside of the card
Take one of the Basic White 2 3/4 x 4 and stamp the inside sentiment and then adhere to the Basic Black 8 x 3 piece on the inside of the card.
Take the other Basic White 2 3/4 x 4 and stamp the sentiment at the top of the cardstock. Then take your sponge dauber and sponge color around the edges of the card. Using the Basics 3D Embossing folder emboss your piece and then adhere to the front of the 8 x 3 Basic Black card stock. (As shown in Pictures)
Now adhere your turkey and your heart.
