Scenic Coast – Double Vision Card

The Scenic Coast Designer Series paper has quickly become one of my favorites! Here’s an eclipse/double vision card created with the gorgeous paper. The beautiful coastal patterns do all the work and create such a stunning finished project

Dimensions:
Balmy Blue cardstock – 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and 5 x 3 3/4
Basic White cardstock – 5 1/4 x 4 inside sentiment
Scenic Coast DSP – 5 x 3 3/4

Instructions:

• Determine if your card will be horizontal or vertical. If horizontal, cut the 6×6 Designer Series Paper 5 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches tall. If vertical, cut the 6×6 Designer Series Paper 3 3/4 inches wide and 5 inches tall. Be sure to center your focal point. Cut your Designer Series Paper at 1/2 inch strips. Keep your strips in order.
• Add the first strip (starting from the left) to the Balmy Blue 5 x 3 3/4 card stock right up to the edge on the left hand side using liquid adhesive. Lay the next piece right next to it but do not glue it. Lay the third piece downright next to the second piece, using liquid adhesive, then lay the next piece right next to that, now continue to use liquid adhesive on the alternating strips until completed. Once you are done take the pieces (every other one) that you did not glue down and put dimensionals on them and then adhere them to the card in between the pieces you adhered with glue.
• Add the Balmy Blue piece to the Basic White 5 1/4 x 4 and then adhere to the Balmy Blue card base.
• Die cut the scrap of Basic White and the scrap of Sunset Shimmer Vellum using the banner die (2nd from largest) from the Stylish Shapes. Stamp Happy Retirement on the Basic White. Cut the vellum in half and glue to each side of the stamped banner. Adhere to the card front but only put glue on the dimensionals raised portions of the DSP.
• Add the Sunset Sparkle Sequins to the front of the card
• Stamp your sentiment on the Basic White 5 1/4 x 4 and adhere to the inside of the card.
